The Matterhorn: The Mountain of Mountains of the Swiss Alps

Last year I turned 25, which for me felt monumental and needed to be memorialized. Celebrating this important life event meant doing something quite crazy to commemorate it properly. Thus what better way to celebrate than jumping off the Matterhorn, the “Mountain of Mountains”?

Seductive Sardinia: Italy’s Enchanted Island

Watercolor painted sandy beaches bathed in turquoise water, an Italian language sounding somehow not Italian at all, food brought up from the sea between the coasts of Africa and Italy, and the distinct smell of orange blossoms wafting throughout the air. This is only a smattering of what awaited me on the Italian island of Sardegna (Sardinia).

Dolomite Hiking in San Martino di Castrozza

Passo Rolle is a high mountain pass in Trentino. The highest mountains in this area belong to the Pala Group of mountains in San Martino di Castrozza. This region contains endless trails for hiking, climbing/via ferrata, and biking in the summer to 60km of ski runs and 30km Nordic skiing trails in the winter.

Surfing the Seacoast of New Hampshire

Once the weather gets nice, which to locals of New Hampshire means any temperature that doesn't cause frostbite, everyone hits the seacoast. There is nothing more New England than surfing the cold Atlantic water and eating lobster by the waterfront afterwards.
